Strathclyde nominated for 'University of the Year' prize

The University of Strathclyde, who are attending the UK University Fair Scotland, have been nominated for the Times Higher Education (THE) ‘University of the Year’ award.

The University is also in contention in three other categories including Outstanding Contribution to Leadership Development; Widening Participation or Outreach Initiative; and, Outstanding Library Team. The University previously won the award in 2012.

Widely regarded as the ‘Oscars’ of UK higher education, THE's gala event will take place in London November 28th with a select panel taking into account research, teaching and access, as well as evidence of imaginative and innovative initiatives.
