Overview

Established in 1904, the University of Leeds has an international reputation for excellence in teaching and research and is part of the prestigious Russell Group of research-intensive universities.

Leeds is one of the largest universities in the country, with 38,000 students currently enrolled from over 140 countries, while its single campus location is spread out over 98 acres just one mile from the busy city centre. Campus facilities include excellent teaching space, four libraries, a state-of-the-art swimming pool, and a fitness centre called ‘The Edge’ and ‘stage@leeds’, which is a contemporary performance space.

The University of Leeds offers one of the widest selections of courses available across all UK universities, from English Language and International Foundation Year to hundreds of undergraduate and postgraduate degree options and PhD opportunities.

Overview

The University of Stirling is located in central Scotland, with over 120 different nationalities represented amongst its 14,000 students. Stirling was founded in 1967 and its campus is set in an 18th century castle estate on the shores of a loch, surrounded by beautiful hills.

The University of Stirling continues to have several unique factors outside of its location. It is a pioneer of a two-semester structure and modular degrees, allowing great flexibility in start times and changes in study. Degrees are also made up of credits earned from modules, which means that students can effectively change their subject as/or if their interests change.

More than 95% of all undergraduates were in employment or further study fifteen months after graduation (Graduate Outcomes Survey 2020, HESA) and it was Stirling students who named the University first in Scotland for having good teachers, quality lecturers and performance feedback (International Student Barometer 2016).

The University of Sunderland was founded in 1901 as Sunderland Technical College and was awarded university status in 1992. It has four campuses: two in Sunderland on the northeast coast of England, one in London, which is used for teaching business, tourism and nursing degrees, and a new development in Hong Kong. In 2018, the University was named one of only five new medical schools in the UK, established to address the regional imbalance of medical education places across England and to widen access to the medical profession. The first cohort of students will join the School of Medicine in September 2019.

The University of Sunderland has close links with business and industry and a close working relationship with many leading blue-chip companies. Many take work placements with such companies as part of a degree, with links particularly strong in engineering and media.

In their feedback from the Teaching Excellence Framework, assessors highlighted the University’s embedded professional practice and the tangible contribution made by business and industrial partners to programme content.

Oxford International Education Group was founded in 1991 and currently provides language education, academic preparation and education study tours to international students.

Oxford International provides pathways to higher education through an exciting range of international integrated undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. In collaboration with our university partners we establish on-campus, Embedded Colleges, where students study the first stage of an integrated Bachelors degree over three or four years. At postgraduate level we offer integrated Masters programmes that combine specialist learning with additional English language and academic support.

Kings has four Colleges in the UK in London, Oxford, Brighton and Bournemouth and all offer English language courses and university preparation in safe, friendly and welcoming environments. The focus is on finding the best study plan and pathway for each student and helping each student achieve the best possible success.

Kings offers A-level and GCSE national qualifications, as well as an extremely rigorous Foundation, the Advanced Level Foundation. Specialist programmes such as the Art and Design Foundation, the International Business Foundation, the Science and Engineering Foundation and the Law Foundation are also available. All students gain entry to a UK university, while many receive multiple offers and progress on to a top 30 ranked university.

Established in 1974, David Game College has now become one of the leading Independent Sixth Form Colleges in London for 13-22 year olds. Accredited by Ofsted, David Game College currently holds “Outstanding” in all categories.

David Game College is located in the heart of the City of London, close to some of London’s most iconic buildings and institutions. Founded in 1974, the college offers a broad curriculum at GCSE and A level, as well as a University Foundation Programme and a vibrant EFL department.

The College moved to its current location in 2017 and students can enjoy the benefits of modern purpose-built facilities, including three state-of-the-art science laboratories, two university-sized lecture theatres, new art rooms, library, gym, and a spacious canteen. Housed within a 60,000 sq. ft. building that was previously a central London university campus, the college affords plenty of space for students to enjoy student life.

The Business and Hotel Management School (B.H.M.S.) is one of the world's leading hospitality schools, located in the heart of Lucerne, a vibrant and beautiful city in Switzerland.

B.H.M.S. has a partnership agreement with Robert Gordon University in Scotland for granting the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Hotel & Hospitality Management in Switzerland. The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021 named Robert Gordon University as the best modern university in the UK.

B.H.M.S. use a Swiss Education Concept that combines academics with professional development and real-life work experience. Industry training is an integral part of any study program offered by B.H.M.S. and during every academic year, students are required to carry out a 4-6 month industry training period in a hotel or a restaurant approved by B.

Bangor University, located in North Wales, was established in 1884, and the university has a long history of academic excellence and offers a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. With around 10,000 students from over 85 countries, Bangor provides a welcoming and supportive environment for international students.

The university is divided into several colleges, covering disciplines such as Arts and Humanities, Natural Sciences, Health and Behavioural Sciences, and Physical and Applied Sciences. Bangor is known for its expertise in Ocean Sciences, Psychology, and Environmental Science, and the university also has a strong reputation for its research output, with many departments ranked highly in national assessments. Bangor’s research is often focused on environmental sustainability, health, and the social sciences, aligning with global challenges and enhancing the university’s impact.

Bangor University is recognised for its beautiful location between the Snowdonia National Park and the Menai Strait, offering students a unique outdoor experience alongside their studies.

EF Education First provide international students with first class English language courses. EF have 11 centres in the UK and Ireland, providing courses which offer six learning stages, each containing 3 course levels, ranging from beginner to academic proficiency.

EF Education First offer basic, general and intensive English language courses, as well as a Diploma in Business & Management, Pre-Masters Programme, Pre-PhD programme and EF University Foundation Year. Career building English courses such as English for Business and English and the Legal World are also available.

All EF language schools are centrally located in friendly learning environments with dedicated support and teaching staff.

Bath Academy is a private college and was founded in 1997. International students benefit from small class sizes and can choose to study GCSE, A-level or the renowned University Foundation and International Medical Foundation programmes.

The University Foundation Programme has become one of the oldest and most well respected foundation courses in the UK, providing an entry level qualification for undergraduate study accepted by over 95 UK universities. The course is designed for international students who have completed high school and acts as a bridging and entry level course for those who wish to go on to undergraduate study at a UK university.
